Baby Café is where Bakersfield gets its breastfeeding support.
Since 2014, breastfeeding families have come to us from as early as the day after they are discharged from the hospital.
We provide hands-on help, information, clinical care, assistance with pumping and expressing milk, low or excessive milk production, referrals, and more.

No. Baby Café Bakersfield is an independent, non-profit organization which is fully funded by in-kind community donations.

Many mothers in our community struggle to find the breastfeeding help they need, and ensuring that free breastfeeding care is available means that moms have one less barrier to breastfeeding.

No. We are unable to receive, store, or distribute items. Also, it is not recommended to use a breast pump that someone else has already used. Please contact us if you have questions about this.
